How we issue tickets

CoderDojo Bray has been running since August 2012. We started by offering 50 places, later ramped to 180 per 6-week block of sessions, and have now settled at 120 places.  We attract kids from all over the Dublin and Wicklow region.  You can see some of our numbers and trends on the Stats tab of this website, if that's your type of thing.

Because demand can exceed these numbers, the only way to ensure that your child gets a place is to Volunteer.  See the Volunteer tab of this website to learn how.  You then get advance access to ticket registration, ensuring you can book your place.

The issuing of tickets (via our EventBrite site) works like this:

  • Children of volunteers get a guaranteed place
    • This only applies to active volunteers who sign up on the published online poll and indicate which dates they will attend
    • Signing onto the poll is what guarantees your early access to the registration page
  • Children of volunteers can attend when their parent volunteers attend (if their parents attend all 6 weeks, they can too, if they wish)
  • All other tickets will be first-come, first-served
  • You can get all the details about attending a session by visiting our EventBrite site.

CoderDojo Bray is free of charge because of the time and effort donated free by all of our volunteers and mentors, financial donations from our supporters and provision of a venue by Presentation College Bray. CoderDojo Bray would not happen without this generous continued support.
If you would like to make a donation, provide equipment, or help out in any way, please contact us at Any funds or equipment donated will be used solely to support the running of CoderDojo Bray.
